This privacy policy applies to AquafeedGermany.de. The website does not use cookies, analytics services or advertising.

1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:

Spezialfuttermittelwerk Beeskow GmbH
Hafenstraße 11
15848 Beeskow, Germany

Phone: +49 3366 21136
Email: info@AquafeedGermany.de

Represented by the managing director Thomas Bobertag. Aquafeed Germany is a brand of Spezialfuttermittelwerk Beeskow GmbH.

No data protection officer has been appointed, as the statutory requirements for this are not met.

2. General information and legal bases

Personal data is any information that can be used to identify you personally. We only process it to the extent necessary to operate this website and to handle your enquiries.

The legal bases are the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Datenschutz-Grundverordnung, DSGVO) and the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (Telekommunikation-Digitale-Dienste-Datenschutz-Gesetz, TDDDG):

  • Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO: handling enquiries and steps prior to entering into a contract
  • Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. c DSGVO: compliance with legal obligations, such as retention obligations
  • Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO: legitimate interest in a secure and functioning website
  • § 25 Abs. 2 Nr. 2 TDDDG: storage in the browser that is strictly necessary for a function you have requested

We do not pass on your data to third parties, except to our hosting provider as a processor or where we are legally obliged to do so. Your data is not transferred to countries outside the EU. There is no automated decision-making, including profiling.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted on servers in Germany by the following provider:

ALL-INKL.COM
Neue Medien Münnich
Owner: René Münnich
Hauptstraße 68
02742 Friedersdorf, Germany

We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider under Art. 28 DSGVO. The provider processes your data only on our instructions. The legal basis is Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO; our legitimate interest is the reliable and secure provision of the website.

4. Server logs and access statistics

Each time the website is accessed, the server automatically stores the following information in log files:

  • IP address, fully anonymised (11.22.33.44 becomes 0.0.0.0)
  • date and time of access
  • page or file accessed and amount of data transferred
  • website from which you reached the page (referrer)
  • browser type and operating system

As the IP address is fully anonymised, we cannot attribute the logs to any person. We use them to ensure operation, find errors and fend off attacks.

From these anonymised logs, the hosting provider compiles access statistics (for example the number of visits per page). No cookies are set and no user profiles are created for this.

The log files are deleted automatically after 90 days. The legal basis is Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

5. Encryption

This website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise it by “https://” and the padlock symbol in your browser’s address bar. Data you send via the forms therefore cannot be read by third parties.

6. Contact by email and phone

If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details (for example name, contact details, content of your enquiry) to deal with your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO if your enquiry relates to a contract or its initiation, otherwise Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Section 7 applies to the retention period.

7. Enquiry forms

The website has forms for the price list, feeding plan, own recipe and callback (the callback form is also on the home page and the contact page). Required fields are marked; further information about your farm is voluntary.

  • Data processed: name, contact details (email, phone), company or farm and location, and the details of your enquiry. Depending on the form, these include for example fish species, type of system, water values (temperature, oxygen), stocking, start and target weight, annual production, previous feed, desired quantities, delivery form, packaging, preferred date or preferred time for the callback, and your message.
  • Purpose: handling your enquiry, preparing offers, price lists or feeding plans, calling you back.
  • Legal basis: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO, additionally Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
  • Transmission: Your details are transmitted in encrypted form and forwarded by email to info@AquafeedGermany.de. If you provide an email address, you receive an automatic confirmation of receipt.
  • Spam protection: We use a field that is invisible to people and a time check. To limit mass enquiries, we briefly store a hash of your IP address; it is deleted after one hour. We do not use external services such as reCAPTCHA. The legal basis is Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
  • Retention period: We delete your enquiry 6 months after it has been fully dealt with. If the enquiry leads to a contract or is subject to statutory retention obligations (in particular under commercial and tax law, up to 6 or 10 years), we store the relevant data for as long as required by law (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. c DSGVO).

We cannot process your enquiry without the required information. There is no legal obligation to provide it.

8. Cookies, browser storage and external content

  • No cookies: This website does not set cookies. A cookie banner is therefore not necessary.
  • Language selection: If you close the notice about the language selection, this is noted in your browser’s local storage (localStorage) so that the notice does not appear again. This note has no personal reference and is not transmitted to us. You can delete it in your browser at any time. The legal basis is § 25 Abs. 2 Nr. 2 TDDDG.
  • Form submission: For the confirmation page after submission, your first name is briefly stored in your browser’s session storage (sessionStorage) so that we can address you personally there. It is deleted immediately when the confirmation page is displayed and is not transmitted to us.
  • Fonts and images: All fonts and images are stored on our own server. No connection to Google or other third-party providers is made when you visit the website.
  • Analytics and advertising: We do not use any analytics, tracking or advertising services.
  • Feed requirement calculator and feed finder: Your entries are calculated only in your browser. They appear only in your browser’s address bar (after the # sign) so that you can save or share results. They are not transmitted to us or to third parties and are not stored. If you request a feeding plan from there, the form page takes over your entries in the same way (after the # sign) so that the form is pre-filled; they are only sent to us when you submit the form.
  • Maps: On the contact page we link to OpenStreetMap and Google Maps. No map is embedded. You only leave our website when you click a link. The privacy notices of the respective provider then apply.

9. Your rights

You have the following rights with regard to your personal data:

  • Access (Art. 15 DSGVO)
  • Rectification (Art. 16 DSGVO)
  • Erasure (Art. 17 DSGVO)
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18 DSGVO)
  • Data portability (Art. 20 DSGVO)

An informal message to info@AquafeedGermany.de is sufficient.

Right to object (Art. 21 DSGVO): If we process your data on the basis of a legitimate interest (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO), you can object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then no longer process the data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

Right to lodge a complaint (Art. 77 DSGVO): You can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is:

Die Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und für das Recht auf Akteneinsicht Brandenburg (Brandenburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Access to Files)
