Three steps to the right feeding rate

  1. Find the row

Look up the fish weight in the left column. Next to it are the pellet size and achievable FCR.

  2. Find the column

Choose your water temperature at the top. The value is the feeding rate in kg per 100 kg fish per day.

  3. Calculate

    Biomass (kg) × feeding rate ÷ 100 = kg feed per day. Example: 2,000 kg trout, 150–500 g, 14 °C: 2,000 × 1.0 ÷ 100 = 20 kg per day.

Work it out yourself

Calculate the daily feed amount

20kg feed per day

Biomass × feeding rate ÷ 100. Example from the catalogue: 2,000 kg trout, 150–500 g, 14 °C: 2,000 × 1.0 ÷ 100 = 20 kg feed per day.
